Application in the marble sector, regarding a bridge saw equipped with a rotating articulated support and a Set V IP68 12/24V series laser.

In the marble and natural stone processing sector, cutting precision and operator visibility are critical factors, especially when working with dark materials or in environments with strong ambient lighting. This application refers to a bridge saw on which a rotating articulated support is installed, allowing precise and flexible positioning of the laser projection system along the cutting area.

Mounted on this support is a Set V IP68 12/24V series laser, specifically designed for harsh industrial environments. The IP68 protection rating ensures resistance to water, dust, sludge, and cutting residues, guaranteeing reliable operation even in the presence of cooling fluids and abrasive particles typically generated during marble cutting processes.

The laser projects a clear and stable reference line directly onto the marble slab, enabling the operator to visualize the exact cutting path before and during the operation. The rotating articulated support allows rapid adjustment of the projection angle and position, adapting easily to different slab sizes, thicknesses, and cutting geometries without mechanical constraints.

This solution is considered the preferred choice for the new generation of marble workers, as the green laser beam offers superior visibility compared to traditional red lasers. The green wavelength remains clearly visible even under strong bench lighting and when working with dark, veined, or polished materials, significantly improving operator comfort and reducing the risk of positioning errors.

Key benefits include:

  • Enhanced cutting accuracy and repeatability

  • Improved visibility in challenging lighting and material conditions

  • Reduced setup time and faster job changeover

  • Increased safety and operator confidence during cutting operations

Thanks to its robustness, flexibility, and excellent optical performance, this laser-guided solution represents a modern and efficient approach to precision cutting in the marble industry, aligning with the evolving needs of advanced stone processing workshops.
